Lake Lansing - Haslett, MI
Lake Lansing is a public all-sports lake and the largest body of water within 30 miles of Lansing. Ingham County Parks maintains two public parks and a boat launch for public use. The parks offer trails for hiking, jogging and skiing, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a guarded beach. Over 250 residential homes surround the lake.

Rainbow Lake - Perrington, MI
Rainbow Lake is located 30 miles north of Lansing. It is a private all sports lake with no public access. The lake is three miles long with a maximum depth of 45 feet. It is very clean for swimming with a sandy bottom in many places. The association stocks the lake with perch and walleye for fishing.
